My World in Black and White

Jan 06 2012 Published by under Film And Lomography

This is my first attempt on B/W films. These shots were taken using Lomography 100 B/W. Most of the shots were taken during my last few days in Malaysia. Yeah, that was like 3-4 months ago.

Local stores here are not / will not process B/W films any more, lest to say 120mm film. Duh. Luckily, scanning films are still pretty much available here.

Reddish Film

My latest addition of redscale film. This is a Lomography Redscale 100 I bought when I was in Malaysia. But I had it processed and scanned in Medan because clearly I wasn’t in Puchong anymore. First few shots were taken during the last few weeks in Malaysia.

Overall, this is quite a good redscale ASA 100 film, but I still prefer redscale ASA 400. The orange hue is much more visible, giving warm feeling.

Here is redscale ASA 400 on 120mm film several months back.

It turns out that Lomography Color Negative 800 is not bad, and Fuji Superia 100 surprisingly good enough under sunlight.

These are Holga shots.

After weeks of reading about Sprocket Rocket, and comparing it with my Holga, I have decided to give this panoramic specialist a try. It is well known for its wide angle lens, multiple exposure, and of course, exposure in sprocket holes area.

It used to be released in only one color: black. But recently, Lomography released special edition in white. The price doesn’t seem to differ by much, so I’m getting white. Besides, my Holga is black, so getting a white one might keep my camera collection colorful.

I will spare you the history of this toy camera, as it is available abundantly. You can find it in a simple search.
